Friday’s disaster pays off

Got some extremely useful information about putting up a booth at horse shows today. I contacted an extremely nice and helpful lady, Janet, who was recommended by the photographer at Friday’s weather disaster. She gave me the equivalent of a semi-trailer load of advice, and called me back about an hour later with more information she forgot to tell me in the first conversation! Still got a lot of work ahead, but now have a better roadmap to follow!

Still to do: resale licenses in Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin; purchase booth and table and chairs and design system to hang paintings in booth; get credit card merchant account (a whole other horror story); finish sample paintings for booth; make sure insurance policy will add on venue sites as “additional insured”–and do it all soon, as the season is relatively short for outdoor booth venues.
