First peek at Jasmine

You wouldn’t think a white-ish horse would be difficult, but the white mane meant I had to draw only the shadow areas. Sometimes it’s hard to see that “negative space”, but I think I got the job done. She’s actually a paint horse, but the brown markings are so faint you really have to look for them. It will be another challenge making those markings visible but not outstanding. The background in the original photo is pretty nice, so I think I may go the extra mile and paint that background (minus the fence) instead of putting in one of my simple backgrounds.
