Not quite ready for prime time

Longmeadow has another layer but it’s not quite there yet. Will delay posting until it’s done…probably around the middle of the coming week. Meanwhile, I’ve been cutting mats for my new ink drawings, and still have to make cute (!) little description cards to go on the back of them, giving a little history about where each sketch came from–and then shrink-wrap them along with my business card on the back of each. Hope to get this done in time for the next horse show on August 29. Also have to root around in the basement and see if I can find this old, but still good-looking, little plastic display rack to put them in. Have an idea where it is, but it’s been so long that I feel like I might have just made up its existence! Hoping to find it and avoid buying more “furnishings” for the portrait booth!

Now, the astute reader will wonder why it takes a week to do these little tasks. Well, it seems that my sometime “day job”, at which I work only when called, has suddenly become almost a daily presence in my life.  Which is a very good thing, as far as income is concerned. However, I’m also quite busy now rehabbing my horse Billy, who I have to ride every day. So between riding and working, the other stuff just has to get squeezed in. But it will get done!

In the meantime, here are a couple more of my ink drawings…
