Define “jaded”…

Last year I thought if I got 6-7 people to stop and chat/inquire on one day at my portrait booth, that was a major accomplishment. Today I got that many, but it felt more like a really slow day. To top it off, I was feeling pretty confident that I would sell at least one ink drawing. It was not to be. In fact, people hardly even looked at them and they were positioned right up front on my table where they couldn’t be missed. Maybe this was just one of those “bad crowd” days you occasionally get at horse shows and expos.

On the plus side, I did get three more of those so far unmarketable ink drawings done!

Another horse show weekend coming up soon. We’ll see what happens…
