The secret is out

Finally got word that the “secret commissions” have reached both their destinations, so now can safely reveal what they really look like, as opposed to the creative disguises I had to give them in my previous posts!

Here’s RT, as a UFO and a horse!

In flight.

In flight.

RT was the crabby but appreciated Thoroughbred I wrote about last summer in my post last July titled "Farewell to RT, aka Billy's twin". The original photo source for this painting is on that post.

And here’s Spur, as a farm field landscape and a horse.

"Spur"--a special Christmas gift to the horse's owner from his trainer and competition rider. He's ridden both English and Western, and the English tack in the painting is a nod to his owner.

The farm.

The farm.

Joy or sadness came upon each recipient according to her history with her horse, but both sentiments were heartfelt and treasured.
