Sunrize, part 2

Ghost horse!

Ghost horse!

So here we have 2-3 passes on the background, and nothing yet on our subject horse. I’m going to do my usual wait-and-see to help me decide if I want to leave the background alone now. Even if I go ahead with the horse, I can always come back and mess with the background and adjust things like color intensity and contrast later. What happens next with the horse is what’s going to make (most) of you say, OMG what the heck was she thinking? The horse is going to be many times more vivid than the background, but not forever. This is the part of Aquabord™ painting that I really have fun with…stay tuned!

It’s always fun to follow your progress to the final result. And it’s already looking very good.
