After a few more thin layers punctuated by dripped turpentine.

So far I am liking this idea a lot. Way back when, I did a few paintings that were enhanced by dribbling turpentine onto the backgrounds to get a fake photographic bokeh effect. I decided to up the ante here and see if I could get the drops to create a kind of watery look. We’ll see how this goes…
