Looks promising

#20, first pass over the background

I blocked in some of the lights and darks on Sky Pads 20, just to keep myself from getting lost in the complicated middle left section. This one is interesting at this early stage because it reminds me of what some of the very first ones looked like when finished. For example, here’s #3–

Notwithstanding, #20 will not look like #3 when it’s finished, but more like its immediate predecessors. But maybe not quite as dramatic. Time will tell.
