OMG #23!

Sky Pads 23–background

This is the first time I’ve been able to create a paint pour background that runs in two different directions. I have something special in mind for the lily pads which will accompany it but will wait for viewers telling me what they see rather than giving it away ahead of time. I really adore the motion in this one!

Wow. This is amazing. First I saw a beach with currents of water crossing each other. Then I saw fringed shawls or scarfs, then I thought I saw the inside of something…not sure what? The inside of a vein or the stomach wall or . . .? Make no mistake, I love it. Love the act of collision and joining happening concurrently. Love the soft colors…

I’m not a creative person, so you’ll need to excuse me…haha! I love the change of directions in the flow and it reminds me of hair on something. The colors and shading are beautiful! Definitely will be interesting to follow this one’s progress!

You definitely don’t have to be a creative to see different interpretations in art. This is part of what makes it fun for me. I know what I see but it’s interesting to find out what meaning others place on the very same image.
